Small station but does what it needs to. Small post office, M&S, and “Clip ‘n Climb” onsite. Also a handful of cafes and restaurant nearby for anyone waiting for a train.

It's my home town so somewhat biased but it is a lovely place to live, great shops and hotels, cafes and scenery, the world famous Ilkley Moor and Cow and Calf Rocks are on our doorstep. Also the gateway to the Dale's.

This is a very efficient multi-purpose station, where I have arrived on direct buses from Skipton and trains from Shipley. Information signs being outside of the platforms are a handy feature for incoming customers, who can easily find their way around by using the clear signs. The station is in proper condition and has well-sized platforms for trains, accompanied by metal seats and a clean, relatively modern railway sign. A pathway to enter/exit with a handrail helps with accessibility, as does the bridge linking both platforms.
