    I came to Ilkley for an event and paid £6 to park for the day. However, it was pouring with rain and I didn't see the small signs indicating the permit holders ' area and got fined. Once you've entered the area there is no other indication. They surely know about this, as I can see it's happened before. A cash-cow I guess. Rather cynical of Bradford City Council but I have challenged it.

    Awful experience with buggy app. After walking on the moors, we visited the town and parked here. Machines only take cash or parking app. Wasted over 30mins trying to download the thing then registering. Wouldn't accept my car reg or card number! In the end had to visit bank to get cash. Then I had a job trying to remove my card details and unregister from app. Won't be coming back
