Went for dinner on Saturday. It’s very, very average - if your idea of a good restaurant is large portions of basic, under seasoned, cheap Italian food surrounded by tourists and wanna be influencers tottering off the C2C you’ll love it here. Service veered from abrupt to avuncular, comical to chaotic then non-existent: our empty wine bottle and glasses were cleared with our mains with no offer of more drinks, we were then left for 15 minutes until someone brought us dessert menus. We ordered focaccia and were served, without any explanation, garlic and rosemary pizza bread instead (same thing happened to next door table - they were told ‘it’s finished’), pasta dishes were just ok - sauces not cooked down or seasoned enough. The overarching sense of rushed discontent was topped off by the freezing cold aircon and waiters noisily rummaging around in a cutlery draw/station directly (less than a foot away) behind our corner table. The combination of rushed and patchy service, mediocre food and non-existant atmosphere at £50+ a head for one starter, 2 pastas and coffee (plus wine and digestifs) made for a disappointing evening out. We won’t be returning.

Seriously overpriced, small portions and manager super rude when questioning these things- go to 'Da Nonna' instead, just down the road but much better quality and price

Excellent experience. The steak, ambiance and the desserts were great. We hope to come back soon.
