IKEA usual facilities that you would expect in an IKEA. The baby changing and feeding facility is just brilliant. Breakfast was tasty, make sure you have the family card as you can get discounts and free coffees on certain days.

We purchased a set of garden furniture last year, used it for three months before putting it into dry storage. When we brought it out this year for the summer we found that the stain / preserver had peeled in patches on all of the items of furniture, tables chairs and loungers. We contacted IKEA to be told that this was not covered on warranty. We did a little investigation and found that this was not uncommon on IKEA garden furniture and is caused by too thick an application of preservative. We went back to CS asking them to reconsider, reiterating that the furniture had only been used for three months. Their response was ‘go to the ombudsman’. Very disappointed as we have purchased much of our furniture from IKEA and to date had been impressed by their value for money, quality and CS. The issue now is after three months use all the furniture will need to be stripped back to bare wood and re treated. Hardly fit for purpose.

Hello everyone! I have warning you to think about this with these companies. I got solar panels with Solarcentury which is joined Statkraft now, also it was parter with IKEA, I find the product on IKEA website, insured by IWA (International Water Association). The solar panel got a little problem. I contacted them. Please see the replied email below. This is means I have to gambling with them for £1000-£2000 without any third-party testing agency. No chance to win. Dear We hope you are well. The remedial installer is advising that to check the system properly will require access to the roof via scaffolding. However, if upon inspection, issues are found that are not related to the original installation (e.g. squirrels/birds have damaged the cables), then you will be liable for 100% of the costs of this second visit (scaffolding and engineering time). As a guideline, the total costs could be in the region of £1000-£2000 depending on the how much scaffolding needs to be installed. Could you please provide us with your consent to pay for the works if the issue is not related to the original installation before we proceed to the next stage of the remedial. Kind Regards The Solarcentury Team
