AVOID this company at all costs! Federation of master builders have removed this Micky mouse company due to their shoddy workmanship After 13 months of stress this company have still not completed my £40k conservatory. I have had nothing but lies and hassle from start to finish. I have been left with a shoddily built conservatory which is incomplete, see attached pics for the ‘completed’ job which Ideal Homes Europe LTD thinks is acceptable. This company will not do a day’s work unless they are paid up front, they hire substandard sub-contractors and then expect the customer to deal directly with the sub-contractors when everything goes wrong. They do not even reply to the Federation of Master Builders when they contact them. I have been left with dangerous electrics from their ‘electrician’ Andy King, the lights either blow or trip when switched on. Obviously ideal Homes Ltd don’t think it is necessary to provide a P6 certificate. The floor is a joke, they stuck beading against bi fold doors which has fallen off as it is not suitable to be used as trim. They fitted a ‘Smart thermostat which is in Korean when you download the app so utterly useless. DO NOT even contemplate using this company

In my opinion, definitely avoid using this company. I have watched my partner go from being excited about the new Orangery that she was going to have built, using money from her dear Mum's will (£40,000 cost), to a crying, miserable shadow of herself, having to project manage this mess on her own. When Ideal were selling to my partner, she was the most important customer in the world, with gifts of wine (please don't be fooled) but as soon as she handed over any money, she was treated like the least important. We took many days off (weeks in total) waiting for contractors that never turned up, with no explanation or indeed a simple phone call received. The job is simply not finished, over 1 year later! The standard of the finish is poor, with beading and floor edging falling off (well, they were only glued on - We've had leaks, blown lights and a sagging floor along the way), and the electrics are abysmal, not to mention possibly dangerous, and definitely non compliant...lights that turn on randomly, ditto the underfloor heating. We have received no certificates re the electrics, No Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate. When we asked about this, Ideal Homes told us to contact the electrician, thanks, still expecting us to project mange to the end. The contract to build this nightmare was between us and ideal homes, not us and the electrician, but this seems like too complicated a business arrangement for Ideal homes to understand. Or were they just being rude, who knows? Finally, before I go and sit in a dark room to calm down...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I was looking to have a conservatory built this year and approached an installation company who were total rip offs and wanted me to demolish at my expense my £4000 porch with double glazed doors and windows. I came across Ideal Homes Europe Ltd by chance on the internet and decided to get a quotation from them. Paul Jones came down middle of August this summer and within 6 days the construction begun after the initial survey. First the foundation was dug and concrete floor laid thanks to Tony Jones, Vanessa and team. Then the whole conservatory structure was laid down, followed by wooden flooring, underfloor heating, plastering, climate box (combi air conditioner/heater), lighting, electrical works and plumbing. My conservatory is 3.6x2.9m, 8ft tall Edwardian and my existing porch was not demolished as (Anglian Homes crooks) wanted me to do, but Ideal Homes attached the porch to the new conservatory with proper roof and solid walls (all inclusive in the price). The built took about 9 weeks, there were hiccups along the way which can be expected in any building work, but it was worth all that wait. I am over the moon with my new conservatory, I wanted a functional living space for 365 days of the year and not just for a few months. I would like to thank personally the following team, Paul Jones, Rob, Amanda (head office), Tony Jones, Vanessa and team ( building work), Richard (plasterer), Andy (electrician) and the star of the show Paul Holder and Ashley who did the bulk of the work (conservatory installation, flooring, underfloor heating, etc). All tradesmen were very polite, accommodating and top class professionals. They treated our home as they would treat theirs, left the place tidy after the job and took the rubbish away. I CANNOT THANK IDEAL HOMES EUROPE LTD ENOUGH AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY 100%.

Lisa grithins The job did not take 23 weeks, you fail to mention all the extra works including decorating we did for you free of charge and the treatment of the rotten wood at your property this review was only posted because we would not change a window for you free of charge your partner ever phoned to apologise on your behalf, you should be ashamed of yourself after everything that was done to help you and you treat people in this way . My advice to any trades people dealing with you is steer very clear .
