Top shop, top service and Richard is a thoroughly nice chap that clearly knows surfing and loves his boards. I have an original Nineplus from 1997 that is still going strong. I can’t recommend them high enough, go there, speak to Richard, listen to his passion and you’ll walk out more knowledgeable.

I'm giving 1 star because it's been weeks since I've sent my wetsuit back to the shop demanding my refund which I'm entitled to because I'm not happy with overall quality. The suit began to loose stitching and then I managed to put a hole in the suit by taking it off. Never have I had a suit rip so easily. For which when I was sold the suit I quote the words "these suits are strong durable and really warm". The customer service is diabolical as I've even waiting weeks for a response, doesn't reply to my emails, then when I called they said they are going to repair it even though that's not what I asked for.

Do not buy! Terrible quality wetsuit and even worse customer service! I contacted Nineplus regarding my wetsuit which had torn very badly at the seam of the arms after light use. The suit had been well cared for and stored away a lot due to working away. Handled exactly as told to do by the instructions with the suit - not dried it in the sun etc. After 6 months of waiting (including chase phone calls, emailing photographs and actually sending the wetsuit to them) they told me it was my fault, I had worn the suit out despite areas of the suit looking like new (including the branding detail). They finally agreed in writing they could repair it, then after another month of no contact simply returned it to me without repair or explanation. This was an investment item which I took great care of. They have little or no interest in aftercare so treat with caution. What interests me the most is that my design of wetsuit is now in the sale and replaced with a new stitched underarm design to cover the flaw! I asked them about this and they didn’t comment. This update is clearly visible on their website and Instagram. It’s a real shame as better customer service would have gone a long way here. I won’t be buying anything from them again.

I called into Nine Plus to buy one of their new 10 inch tribute fins and was disappointed to hear they had sold out. Richard the owner said, I have one in MY board which I haven't surf yet... did you want that one? I bought that one (at a reduced price.... he didn't have to do that but he did)!! I don't know of any other shop that would have done that... that is going the extra mile in my eyes and definitely putting the customer first! Thanks Richard it's an awesome fin!
