Speaking for myself and not to diminish anyone else's experience, I can honestly say ICON has had some brilliant achievements and from my end been a pleasure to be involved with. They genuinely make a difference to people's lives and allow free opportunities for many of the people in medway. Working last year on the Ballad of St John's Car was actually really life changing and gave a voice to lots of underrepresented groups. I can only speak for myself, but the people I work with have been kind and supportive and I am proud to be a part of this company.

The entirety of the upper management team who are supposed to be looking after their people on the ground and in sessions (the staff doing all the hard work that isn't admin!) - are quite possibly the most incompetent, inconsiderate, unprofessional pack of charlatans I've ever come across, and I don't even work for them! The only thing they seem to care about is positively discriminating against their cast and group members as to tick boxes to meet funding requirements. I don't think any of the management team could run a bath, let alone this theatre company. They truly have no shame! staff members have been leaving in droves over the last 2 years all because of the ineptitude and nastiness of upper management, I can't say I am surprised as they're usually spoken to in an INCREDIBLY disrespectful & patronising tone which does not warrant a fun modern working environment, which is funny for a company who preaches so much positivity and inclusivity but whose actual message couldn't be more contradictory. They do not deserve any more funding, give it to someone more deserving whose message and values are legitimate.

A Enigma
This use to be an excellent gathering for children ages 7 and above as at 2015. To our surprise, of recent, the team appears to run an office at the Brook Theatre in Chatham at some expense, presumably, without little or no activities. When queried, the response we have is that there are no funding. But it is not clear how office and staff at the premises are funded. This criticism arose from the suspicion that if expenses are cut then essence or goal of this charity organisation can be fulfill. There are telephone line that seems not to be answered.
