I purchased an Icon Audio Stereo 25 MkII approximately 10 years ago. At the time of purchase they were happy to accommodate a capacitor upgrade. Since then they have modified the amplifier for me, from ultra linear to triode mode. The point-to-point design of the amp made this change relatively simple and cost effective. In both configurations it has proved to be a great sounding amp, with all the features I need. Recently it developed (what I thought to be) a fault and I messaged the sales team late on a Friday afternoon. Within an hour I received a very helpful reply from David Shaw about how to possibly resolve the issue. It turned out he was correct in diagnosing a faulty valve. The amp is now running great again - many thanks for the assistance. I can't recommend Icon Audio highly enough.

Beautiful looking icon amp but have had it for five years and it’s constantly making horrendous sounds making it almost unusable - apparently it’s to do with wifi interference but have had it in 3 homes in varying positions and still it persists. For £1200 it’s very frustrating. They did little to help resolve.

Icon Audio is an extremely good company, I have an Integrated Amp and Phono stage of their's . Both are truly amazing and make listening to music a pure joy. Very well built products. Another thing to note is their after sales care. They go above and beyond to make sure you get a product that is pure PERFECTION. Had the pleasure of speaking to David Shaw while picking up my phono stage after a valve change they did for me. 11 star service.

Was pleasantly surprised how helpful the guy on the phone was and really helped me sort the issue out. Couldn’t ask anything more off any company! Great product & great staff member! Have one of there HP8 £800 valve headphone amps, but after 3 years of very light use the paint started flaking off it and the valves supplied in the amp failed causing audio crackling and squeeling. There sales literature stated valves should last 5-10 years. I requested they at least replace the valves considering I had now experienced two faults with the amp, but there general manager Adrain Feary refused. It would have only cost them about £40, but It seems that's too much to ask to keep a customer happy and up hold there claims of quality and brand reputation. Recommend avoiding Icon Audio and buying cheaper brand, as from my experience your not getting any better quality or service for the extra money you pay Icon Audio. I will be sending formal letters regarding my disappointment with there product and company to there directors David Shaw and Dharmendra Khodiara, but not holding my breath on any reply or change of heart from them.
