    The telephone number mentioned on ICICI Bank website is no great help. I happened to drop a line about opening an account to Mohanpreet Singh in Handsworth, B'ham Branch. He promptly replied with an offer of help in opening an NRE/NRO account. I was given an immediate appointment which I accepted. He did all the paperwork, explained everything and the good news is I received all the documents (Chequebooks and debit cards) from India within two weeks as promised. Subsequent calls to Mohanpreetji were useful in clarifying a few things. We are thankful to him for his courtesy and help. Hope our banking with ICICI Bank in future retains the same high standard.
