As a result of our old softener dying on us I contacted Ian on a Friday and an appointment was made for the following Tuesday to supply and fit a new one. Nick turned up exactly on time at 9am and fitted the new softener. Whilst doing so me placed it in a more appropriate position than the previous one and also sorted out the overflow that as it was could have potential flooded our kitchen. I was pleased to hear that the new softener regenerated automatically based on the amount of water that passed through it rather than a timer needing to be set to do that job. So we now have a softener that requires nothing more than salt to be added as and when required. We did also get a free bag of salt thrown in:-) Ian's salt prices are extremely competitive, so we will be getting that from him in future. All in all we are very pleased with all aspects of the service and product supplied.

Tidy installation of a softener without unnecessary bells and whistles at a reasonable price. The bypass pipework was very tidy and well laid out and the softener itself was installed in an outdoor cabinet. Happy with the end result!

Ian Holmes water softeners fitted a water softener and filter for us. The service we received was 10/10. Fantastic customer service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nick, the engineer did an excellent installation leaving everything clean and tidy. And what a difference to the water! I wish we’d done it years ago. Highly recommended.

This company was highly recommended to me by several local residents. Ian Holmes visited my address and carried out survey advising me of what best suited my circumstances. I hasten to add this was not the most expensive. I went ahead with purchase and one week later ‘ Nick ‘ arrived on time at my address. Having installed the softener he went through the operating instructions with me. His workmanship was neat, clean and tidy. I could not praise him enough. I had one query the following day.which was a Saturday. I contacted the company leaving a message on the answerphone and within the hour Ian Holmes contacted me back and resolved my query. Excellent service. Excellent product.would highly recommend
