I originally studied Japanese at the Japanese Foundation for 4 years while spending a few of my summers in Tokyo just to really immerse myself in the language that I love. When I arrived in London I didn't want to lose it so I thought I'd take a few classes at this school. Big mistake. Teachers changed regularly when I was attending (might be a visa issue) so continuity was difficult, they were also not very nice (one in particular didn't like me using my easer in class as it created a "mess" on the floor, another one didn't like the way I used to take notes). In particular though, I was placed in the same class as others with different levels than myself, simply because it was either that or a basic class.

Great place for learning Japanese - the school offers both small group as well as 1-2-1 tuition. The teachers push you to use Japanese early on and all students are encouraged to try speak only Japanese as soon as they get through the door, regardless of their language level. Definitely recommend if you're after quality language tuition.
