    If you want reliable broadband and good customer service I Need Broadband is not for you. Since joining them I have had 2 problems where I needed help and support and they failed on both occasions. They refuse point blank to speak to you on the phone and insist on you resolving the problem yourself with a set of instructions. Great if you're I.T savvy but not so great if not.

    Previously I had used other ISPs but had lousy bandwidth in our village and frequent service outages. INB have given an excellent service, with very helpful and friendly support staff. Tech support has also been excellent - I raised a ticket one Friday evening, tech answered Saturday night, and replacement interface box dropped off on Monday. Bandwidth plenty for streaming and concurrent surfers.

    I was an I need broadband customer for 2 years and I found the service to be on the whole quite good. There were a few teething problems and I found that I had to raise quite a few service tickets due to low speeds and periods of downtime due to various faults. My wife was working from home and there were times where this was simply not possible due to network issues with I need broadband. As my contract finished and fibre became available in my area I decided to switch to another supplier. I was at the end of a 2 year contract and had paid all my fees. I gave notice and was told that somebody would come and collect the equipment from my roof but nobody ever did. I rang I need broadband to ask them on two seperate occasions if they would please remove the old redundant antenna but they told me I would now have to pay £45 to have it removed. I don't think this is very fair especially having promised to remove it on completion of my contract and all around me people have had their equipment installed. The engineers could have collected the old equipment easily. So if you take out a contract with I need broadband be sure to ensure that free removal of equipment is mentioned in your terms and conditions. I have been left feeling like I shouldn't have left even though my contract was over and I made every payment. Thank you I need broadband.
