Steve and his son Hayden did an excellent job of removing our dilapidated decking and extending the patio area. Mixing the new and original stone pavers to give a more uniform appearance. They also replaced the rotting sleepers with a low retaining wall and formed an extended step so we can walk out onto the garden from the back door. Everything was cleared away, the driveway protected by a large tarpaulin and hosed down at the end of the job. Very friendly and helpful and a thoroughly professional job. This is the second time they’ve done work for us previously building the higher retaining wall round the garden. Would definitely recommend. We are very pleased with the work Steve and Hayden have carried out in the makeover of our rear garden. The works included taking up existing slabs and grass, lay new paving, kerb edging, gravel, new turf, and some additional top soil. We contacted Steve following a much smaller job they had undertaken for us previously which had gone well. Steve was always timely in his responses including - *Quote - arranged to visit and look just a few days after contacting him, providing a detailed and competitive quote *Clarifications - responded swiftly to a small number of points we wanted to check in his quote Timescale - he provided an indicative start date and anticipated duration (which they achieved) *Minor Changes - we made some small amendments to our design in the weeks before the start. They were willing to take these in board, making some further suggestions of their own. *Final cost - these changes, some of which reduced and some resulted in extra work. Steve maintained his quote without additional charge. Steve and Hayden were always friendly and polite, and moved pots around and replanted some plants in the newly created flower beds When looking at work to our front garden area in the future we will certainly contact IK Gardens and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others Services: Driveway or walkway paving, Stone landscaping, Landscape installations, Lawn landscaping
