Used Approved?! NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON: YP65ATN Hyundai I30 from JT Hughes in Shrewsbury. The dealership tried selling me a car that a blind person can see had been in an accident with a sloppy attempt to conceal it. One of the rear parking sensors sunk in. Most of the rear driver quarter panel is where the damage is hiding behind thick putty and spray job from a rattle can, which has yellowed due to exposure to UV and rust has eaten away at the metal. The paint depth gauge read excessive amounts of putty thickness on that part of the car. Don't get me started on the front bumper.... I drove from Kent in a 400 mile round trip in a 3.0 litre to see this car -£90 down the drain. The dealer's response: "Apologies but not our fault that our Used Approved process certification has not picked up on that because the car came back as HPI clear". Thank you JT Hughes, who have staff less competent than a blind person, for wasting my time and money on a weekend - P S. In case JT Hughes are not competent to read between the lines, that was sarcasm...oh, just realised you may not know what 'Sarcasm' means so, was going to suggesst a bigger letters word like "Thesaurus" but we are now just heading down a rabbit hole with this dealer :(

I work in a dealer, Hyundai UK are an absolute disgrace. Becoming unbearable to work with and the people at the top think they are incredible, when actually they are a joke. Can’t supply vehicles, and harm financially hard working dealerships battling rocketing costs.

DO NOT BUY a Hyundai unless you are prepared to employ solicitors. Nov 21 TUCSON has been faulty for 10 months and they are refusing to resolve. The car is fine when it works but the service from the Dealerships and HO is utterly dosgraceful

The Hyundai Mocean service is the worst possible service available, they first sent me a car that had been in a crash and had lots of previous issues, then sent me a car which was full of messes on the seats including Staines that looked like some one had wet their selves. Following this I was sent a brand new car that has broke down 6 weeks later and they are refusing point blank to do anything or cancel the contract. disgusting company and the management their have no compassion or support for any one. Numerous complaints in to them and no real outcomes.

Incorrect model listed at point of registration, bought vehicle as new and its taken over 6 months, many phone calls, emails and letters to get correct V5. Hyundai haven't responded to letters, and still 9 months after purchasing car details are still wrong on any registration lookup. I asked for experian/equifax/whoever! to be corrected and again no response. Dreadful customer service, would rather buy a bicycle next time than another hyundai.

The rating is actually minus 5. Don't buy this product at any price, you are buying problems! Very poor customer service but most all, the warranty is not worth the paper printed on. Their dealerships employ dishonest people to look at warranty claims. The company appears to experience many years of poor quality steering wheels just look on Hyundai forums on the internet. My brand new Tucson Hybrid steering wheel is tearing apart in just 5 months. Obviously, their trained workshop manager decided this was not covered by the warranty. I am looking at returning their vehicle for miss-selling because they don't tell customers that there are quality issues with the steering wheels of their cars. Apparently, the company CEO transferred all his or her responsibilities and powers to a customer service agent called Vina to run the company. There were issues from start with this company, when it comes to them having to produce. When I bought the car, there was a 3 year free service plan, obviously I had to fight for it. Do yourself a favour, buy something else! If there is such a fight to get a steering wheel replaced under warranty, imagine if it was something more serious and expensive. If you look on the Hyundai Forums most of their models have steering wheel and other steering problems. You don't save buying a cheaper car if the warranty is worthless and complaints are ignored and contact with top management is impossible.

Astonished at how poor the customer service at Hyundai is. I waited nearly 5 months for a warranty repair to be sorted. I am still waiting for a refund on a hire car I had to organise myself when the car was in getting on for £900 they owe. I don;t even have the car any more. I was so disgusted the day I got it back I PX'd it for an Audi.

Ref a service plan. If ever there was a need to provide a lower score than 1 then this is it. A global company that deals with their customers as if you were something stuck to the underneath of their shoe. Having purchased a service plan for three years on a I30N purchased brand new from Sturgess in Leicester, after two years and a change in circumstances, I exchanged the car for a new Ultimate Tuscon. Leaving one year of the original service plan, I decided to recoup the remaining monies of that service plan and of which Sturgess of Leicester stated it wouldn’t be an issue and I should get the monies returned to my account within a couple of weeks. That was on the 13th March 2022 and today being the 31st August 2022, I am still awaiting. I’ve refused to purchase a new service plan and will never touch another Hyundia again. I have been passed from one individual to another in customer services and even have a manager apparently dealing with my case allegedly following several complaints made to Hyundia. Everyone blames one another. The local garage have been abysmal and have turned their back on me. Hyundia state they are awaiting for Sturgess of Leicester to forward relevant papers to head office. How long does it take. I have now sort legal advice and have considered taking Hyundia to the motor ombudsman and court. This is the final straw. Hyundia’s attitude is an absolute disgrace. Customer service is diabolical and the pits. I do not expect this to be sorted soon and these comments to be ignored. Nearly half a year of complaining just to get back £148. Hold your heads in shame and you’ve lost a customer for sure. Further to the above, I actually asked (dated 5/11/22)Hyundai UK,whether they would now consider as a gesture of goodwill, a reduce cost service plan for the new car. My argument being that a service plan would have been purchased on purchase of the new car but for the issues of returning my money and poor customer service and communication skills. As the cost of a service plan has risen,I felt it was unfair for me,as a loyal customer, to pay the extra costs as the issues were through no fault of my own. Since November 2022 I have been in contact with Hyundai Uk whether a decision had been made as to regards a discounted service plan. Up to todays date 3/2/23 I have not had any feed back from the company although when I ask if a decision has been made I’m I constantly fobbed off by customer service personnel saying so and so the manager is looking into it. How long does it take. Same old same old unfortunately. Terrible terrible service from a leading company in the world of cars

Absolutely useless. The approved dealer in Reading have failed to supply a quote despite my urgency. I've been waiting over two weeks. Non approved garages take around a day. The Swindon repairers said my car's flaking paint is caused by bird poo, which is entirely laughable given one chunk of missing paint is behind the door handle. Central office do not even try to meet their own standards: having been promised a call from a manager within 48 hours, over a week later I am still waiting pointlessly. Oxofrd Hyundai are actually argumentative and abusive. The manager there promised to call me back but hasn't either. My Resolver complaint has also gone ignored. The customer focus couldn't be any worse really.
