I am very privileged to already own a Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP, but my wife now feels left out so decided to search for the bike she would like to be 'taken' out on. She found a very rare Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak for sale at Hyside so we went to meet the team and bought the bike there and then. Nick dealt with the sale from start to finish but we me the rest of the team including, Martyn, Paul, Liam, Ronnie |(owner), Lucie, (great food on-site), Simon etc. We were made to feel welcome and spent many an hours chatting. I wanted a few additional extras added to the bike so we had to wait for a couple of weeks prior to collection waiting for Ducati to deliver. Today was the day it was ready for collection on a new '23' reg, so we made an afternoon of it despite the weather. What a great ambiance in the shop, plenty of special bikes to drool over, good food and obviously picking up the Pikes Peak, (PP). I had about one and a half hours journey home, but I cannot tell you what a superb bike it is. Apart from owning the V4 SP which is a special tool for those fun days, but the PP is an absolute all rounder. I loved our R1200GS Adventure, but in my opinion, the PP is a notch above. I just don't use an adventure bike for what is is built for, but the PP I know I will do a track day, definite social runs with Tracy to the DOC GB ride outs and definitely some longer touring dates too.The comfortable seating position, the switchable riding modes, the seamless up/down quick shifter, the power delivery, smoothness, turning etc. I absolutely love it!! So if you are thinking of buying, make sure you go to Hyside. You will love the experience and they will make it special. Thanks guys and see you soon for the first service and social. Cheers Steve

Ducati Chelmsford (located in Maldon.. don't know why) is an excellent dealership which to me has come a long way from when I last knew them in Romford. The sales guys make you feel welcome, the stores guys are very helpful and the engineers are professionally trained wizards who also (if they have time) will discuss your bike issues, fix any problems and are just generally awesome. My Panigale V2 went in for a service yesterday afternoon and the engineer (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) was beyond helpful and allowed me to chat with him and the team inside the garage. They were all very welcoming, knowledgeable, encouraging and understanding. I am incredibly grateful to them for the work they have done as they have restored my confidence in the bike again. I will be coming back for their BBQ (if I'm allowed out) 😉
