Called into Hyphose Portsmouth recently. At the counter I explained I wanted any old hose with an I/D of 19-20mm. What's going through it the chap behind the counter asked. 'Leptosternum' I responded. Blank looks met my response, unsurprisingly. I explained that I needed to tie off the aforementioned shrub to a support, to train it into shape and needed a 'sleeve' to protect the stems. Ah.....said the boss who had arrived at the counter ...... We've had similar requests before. Got exactly the right size hose I needed. As always great service even with an odd ball request. Thanks chaps !
