Very welcoming staff, Ted (dog) really liked the place he had a good explore. Staff took us through the procedure of Ted joining Puppy day care. Showed us the passport he gets. Having his assessment next week. Very positive experience so far.

My partially blind, hard of hearing rescue dog has been very well looked after by the team at Hylton Hounds every time she has been there. The staff are very kind and sympathetic to her needs and the updates of her we get to see on their Facebook page is very reassuring. We're so pleased we found them 😊. We had a meet and greet last year before she first went in which was very useful and informative. I would definitely recommend them.

Daycare is very disappointing. Watched as 2 young bored staff chatted whilst dogs were left walking around ignored and one hurled itself at the gate repeatedly. Probably desperate to get away. My dog hadn't been looked after properly and was absolutely desperate for water. I would avoid and try somewhere that has staff that actually care about your dog.

A total rip off! Today we collected Freida our a German Shepherd. We arrived at 11.20 am this morning to collect her and we’re charged £249 for 9 days! We took all of Freida’s fresh food and toys. We were charged an extra £21 because we collected her at 11.20 am! Apparently if you collect your dog after 11 am on the day of collection you get charged a FULL DAY RATE!! Absolutely diabolical, does this mean that because they have named the kennels “Pet Hotel” that it gives them the right to rip pet owners off! I would never recommend this Kennels. There are far better in the area for reasonable rates. We have booked Freida in to another kennels for our next holiday.
