Good selection of materials especially bricks. Not a massive yard so can only get about 4 to 5 trucks in there. Yard guys are really friendly but the office staff are very missarable borderline rude

Really strange business this one. have used them for many years on a number of large and small self build projects. Used to be my go to branch but no more. Pricing is all over the place and no one can explain why. As an example....Current project required a lot of 45 x 150 treated timber. Have made multiple purchases from this branch and another buildbase not far away. Every purchase over last week has varied in price per length and its not about quantity. Its all about who serves you and what mood they are in. Other buildbase just down the way were at least £3 per length cheeper. Doesnt sound much but over 60 lengths it all adds up. Just dont get a decent service from this place anymore which is a shame as its on my doorstep.

Really bad experience and service. Did order 2 bulks of sharp sand with delivery! They said it will be £110- done the payment via phone. Did get a phone call back after 2min with the pretext that didn't went through- did it one more time - but this time the charged me £128. The driver came with the delivery but for some reason didn't deliver the sand . When called and asked about the payment ( the extra £18 added to the bill didn't even get an apology for the mistake- instead I did get the "you want it or not? That is the price"!
