    Recently purchased a Fiat Panda 4x4 from this garage. The gentleman we spoke to was very polite and helped the handover go through very briskly. They gave us a 12 month warranty and carried out a full 120 point check on the vehicle to ensure it was safe to drive away before being purchased.     I was disappointed with the standard of service that I received from Huttons for my Fiat /Swift Motorhome. My probs started when I attempted to book an MOT with Huttons on 17 May22 , only to be told that they could not schedule an MOT for me until 11 July22 ( 2months !!! ) . A two month wait to get an MOT scheduled is not an acceptable service standard from a Fiat main dealer in the area. We had a trip planned in our M/home in late June ( 6 weeks from when I attempted to book an MOT) which we ended up having to cancel / reschedule until I had a valid MOT for our m/home. Anyway , I arrived at their service desk 2 months later on 11 July at 8:15am to be ignored by their Customer Service Manager who was sat at his desk . He looked up ,saw me but continued to ignore me as he attended to the paper work at his desk. After a few mins, he raised his head from his desk and shouted over to me that they don't open until 8:30am and then abruptly told me that there was someone ahead of me in the Q .... up until that point I never said a word to him, but started to think to myself what a rude response to a customer from for a Customer Service Manager. At 8.25am , Customer Service Manager (aka Mr Grumpy) gets up from his desk, comes over to reception desk to relieve me of my m/home keys. I asked him if he wanted to inspect my m/home for any external damage which he declined to do. I phoned Huttons from my office late afternoon to ask if my M/home was ready, to be told that it had passed its MOT so I arranged a taxi to take me to the dealership for collection. On collection I was told by same Mr Grumpy (Customer Service Manager ), and completely unsolicited without me asking, that my 9k mile from new Motorhome needed it's cam belt / water pump changed at a cost of £1400. I didn't hang about long enough to ask if their quote included VAT or not. I said I would think about it and I departed dealership to drive home. When i got home I checked the on board tracker on my M/Home to discover that Huttons had not carried out the MOT. My M/home had been driven to Weston-Super-Mare over 3 miles away to an Non Fiat accredited garage to carry out the MOT on the dealership's behalf. I was shocked and angry as they did not have my approval to do this nor was I told about it and I would never have known if I hadn't checked my tracker - just appalling !! With hindsight, I could have dealt with the Non accredited garage myself and got my MOT done much quicker than the ridiculous 2 month wait having booked it through Huttons. IMO, Huttons Fiat dealership didn't inspire me with confidence that they are competent enough to deal with the requirements of Fiat based motorhomes or their owners and they would be better to stick to dealing with Fiat 500's which mostly adorn their forecourt. IMO, their Customer Service Manager could benefit from some urgent Customer Service Training. Huttons can be assured that I would not touch them again with a 10' barge pole. Ps i got the cam belt changed for signifcantly less than their £1.4k quote ( +VAT ? ) that this dealership quoted me.

    Having decided to replace my Fiat 500S with an electric one, I found a few dealers on Autotrader who had the model I wanted in stock and called in at Huttons first. Salesman Louis did a great job in answering my endless questions, offering a test drive and by coming up with a good deal, including part exchange so I didn’t even make contact with any other dealer. I took delivery yesterday, having been consistently impressed with the efficiency, friendliness and flexibility when it came to my changing needs regarding the collection arrangements.
