Nice crematorium set in lovely grounds. Very quiet despite it being in a large city. Plenty of parking. Went for the funeral of a good friend who died unexpectedly.

Poor signage and no gritting or clearing done of steep snow and ice covered driveway and paths, really dangerous and added extra stress to what was an already difficult day. This is Yorkshire, on a hill, in winter, on the third day of snow. Surely there are plans in place for allowing people to safely access the building? Apparently there is a top entrance which was slightly better but no idea of how to get round to it and no signs to help.

Wonderful gardens of remembrance. Very well kept. I go there often and it always looks well looked after. Plenty of choice for remembering loved ones like: Benches, wall niches, kerb plaques, under trees, mushroom gardens, etc. There is a book of remembrance, and at xmas you can hang a card on a tree. Good parking and toilet facilities as well.
