Amazing experience! I just walk in to a very stressful day and I get my hair done with a lovely hairdresser who’s took care of me for all the process. I get done my roots with blonde colour and get it straight. I’ve Afro curly hair and she didn’t make me suffer at all when she was brushing. I saw a blow dry deal offered by Hush on Groupon and thought I would give it a try as not all products and techniques used for it are good.(I usually have it done in Brazil but due to COVID-19, I can’t travel hence why I wanted to try at Hush and would be more than happy to go back and pay full price if I liked it). Bought the deal twice and both times when I tried to book in the staff were so rude and unprofessional. Specially once I confirmed I had a Groupon Voucher. I was told that instead of the appointment for two weeks time which I was about to be booked in for, it would be in 3 MONTHS time for Groupon voucher which would be well after my voucher had expired - even if I buy a new voucher, I wouldn’t be able to use it because the next available appointment is in 3 months or longer. But to me, the big thing is that they don’t even bother making you feel welcome in the saloon, don’t know how to speak nicely, politely or professionally to another human being. They act and talk to you as if they are doing you a favor. It just once again showed me that they want you to go away, cancel your voucher and never come back. Why do they offer deals on Groupon then? Surely their loss! Well, they don’t really care!

Service is bad and pricing is increasing out of nowhere. First they don’t take appointments after 4pm on weekdays and they don’t welcome you on saturday as the brazilian blow dry takes too long! How about people working 9-5? Went there for a brazilian blow dry after confirming over the phone a few days back that I had to do the hair colour before. The hairdresser told me it was actually the reverse. (?) Then he said it was fine after I mentioned I got this advice from this precise salon (!) so he did the treatment without applying it properly on the roots at the back of the head and near the nears. I said he had to apply more and then he complained! I paid and then got told that the price would be double next time- 150 instead of 80. I asked why and he said the discount was done. For such bad service and such increase I will never go back there ever again.

They phoned me up and told me to come in early for my appointment, then when I arrived they said they never phoned me and I would have to wait an hour. Brazilian keratin treatment was a total waste of money as it washed out straight away. They refused to cut more than an inch off my hair as they said the "cut" listed on my Groupon was only allowed to be a trim.
