park at Keyhaven and walk to the ferry. Lovely return journey for £7. The shingle beach is a mile walk, nice if you are up for a good walk. The only cafe was a shack on the entrance to the castle, very busy, know idea how they will cope in the height of the summer. A few picnic tables about, views were good though. Our entrance fee was £5.50 concession. To be honest, we wont go again, not a lot to see in castle, The views made it, lots of places were still cordoned off due to storm damage. A couple of rooms with infor about lighthouses, and then the fort itself with steep uneven steps to a view point. The highlight was the ferry ride.
