About 30 years ago we purchased 2 large vertical blinds from Hurst Blinds which have given excellent service. The tracks, hangers and operating pulleys etc are all still in good working order but the fabric slats have become faded and grubby so we decided to replace them. The original purchase was made when Hurst Blinds had an outlet on the Nuffield Estate but this is now closed so I searched the internet and found they are still trading locally. I emailed them and received a swift response with an offer to visit our house. Within a couple of days Alison visited with several pattern books and measured the existing blinds. We got a rough idea of colour etc., from the books she had but to make sure we were totally satisfied she arranged for more samples to be sent to us from their suppliers which we received within 2 days We then decided on one and Alison gave us a price for the replacement including fitting which was very reasonable and we accepted, The slats have now been made and fitted and they are just what we wanted. You pay half the price as a deposit when you order and the remainder when they are made and fitted to your satisfaction. There were no hidden extra charges. If you want new blinds or replacement parts then I can highly recommend Hurst Blinds which are a small local family company. The service was first class and the fitting by Martin was done quickly without any fuss or mess. .

We are both so pleased with the window blinds and especially with the ‘Perfect fit’ blind on the door. Martin did a great job with his accurate measurements and the installation and everything was a perfect fit! If we need any blinds in the future we will not hesitate in returning to Hurst Blinds. We have recently moved into a new house in Wimborne and we were recommend to contact Hurst Blinds at Home. We decided to have a mixture of Roman blinds and Roller blinds for our windows. We were very impessed with the service offered to us by Martin. We had our blinds fitted last week by Martin who also did the measuring and provided samples of materials as well as advice. We had our new blinds fitted last week and we are delighted with the quality, finish, standard of fitting and the price, which was very competitive. We would certainly use Hurst Blinds at Home again and have no hesitation in recommending them.
