We used Hurrell Plumbing and Heating for a new boiler and central heating system in January 2017. Under the terms of the contract the first year's servicing was free and then they were to let us know each year when the annual service was due. After a year I tried to ring them as they had not been in touch regarding the first free service. That was in January 2018. It is now July 2018 and I have not been able to get hold of them. I have tried to ring many times (I have lost count how many) , left loads of messages on their numerous answerphones and emailed them. If the servicing is not carried out the guarantee on the boiler is not valid. I have an agreement in writing that the first service will be free and I am very disappointed that they are not adhering to the terms of the agreement.

Edit: they've now sent me the gas Safe cert I'll start by saying I got a boiler fitted by these and it's been working fine and they were fairly cheap. The issue is that they didn't register it as ''gas safe', which is now apparent when I'm selling my house. As someone else mentioned they are impossible to get hold of. Sent a message from their website, left voicemail and kept trying to call. I've heard nothing. Terrible service considering the initial job wasn't done correctly.

Excellent. Arrived when they said, a sterling job, completely quickly and ahead of time. Would highly recommend and very nice people to boot. A lovely tidy job, very impressive copper work indeed. Thank you!. Full boiler swap out, with the addition of a radiator, an outside tap and hooked up to Nest. Super Fancy! High Recommend

Under no circumstances use this plumbing firm. We had a boiler fitted last 10 months ago and since then have had oil leaks, other plumbers tell us that it was fitted in a way that was dangerous and not code compliant. When I rang Adrian Hurrell about the oil leak (he had concreted over a pipe join which another plumber has told us was not legal) I left answerphone messages but Adrian did not get back to us, so we had to pay another plumber to fix. The boiler then started to make banging noises so my wife rang Adrian and left him a message asking him to ring us, but again no call. I then rang pretending to be a sales call and he rang back immediately. I asked him why he only gets back to sales calls and he lied saying he hadn't received our messages (but he got the one where he could make money!) Adrian told us he would come and look at boiler and would call the day before to arrrange a time. Guess what? No call, no Adrian the next day. Added to this when he fitted the boiler my wife questioned as to if there should be a cover over the exhaust as we have a toddler and the fumes we being ejected at her face height. Adrian told us that's how they come. The plumber who fixed oil leak caused by Adrian's dangerous work fitted a metal cage over the exhaust and he was confused as to why Adrian hadn't fitted as it came as standard with the boiler! There are many plumbers out there, please don't give your money to Adrian Hurrell. His work is poor, and he will not reply to you unless you are giving him more money and he cares not for you or your families wellbeing.
