Huntington library is the best out of all the York Explore libraries. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there are toys for children to play with, and the children's book area is open and comfy. The selection of books for adults is smaller than some libraries, but the choice is very good and the collection regularly has new books. Great library!

Wouldn't recommend the library As the librarian is a very rude lady in my opinion . We went in to use the facilities and it was the pc which I needed to be logged in on and we waited a total of 15 mins already as there was only one librarian . She saw us waiting , and ignored us and carried on doing a " story time session " I didn't want to interrupt However after waiting patiently , I politely said " excuse me I'm wondering if you can help me log onto the pc " ( baring in mind it is a 2 second job ) She replied " don't you disturb story time , you'll have to wait " I asked how long until story time is finished and she responded " until I decide or in 20 mins I was a paying customer but I will be going to another library as she is prioritising reading to 1 baby what couldn't understand the story and 1 small child ( not exactly busy busy in there ) And the service was rude if I could zero * I certainly would
