Fantastic place, Ursula keeps the place immaculate. The venue is spacious and if you don't want to use the AGA then The Bold Forester is only a little way away. And contrary to the Boldies website it's open 7 days.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at huntbourne lodge, Ursula and Shane were very welcoming and have decorated this lodge beautifully. Waking up to a wonderful sunrise, with cows and Arry the horse grazing in the fields right next to the patio door was truly amazing. All the added little treats of wine and nibbles were a lovely touch. I cannot wait to be back this way again soon as I will definitely be booking in for a couple of days retreat!

What a fabulous find for the perfect unplugged getaway! Shane & Ursula have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable & as authentic as possible... being a working farm, we were greeted & shown around the beautiful Huntbourne Lodge which was tastefully decorated & had everything we needed! (including complimentary wine & nibbles!) The Aga & Log Burner, along with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on just added to this peaceful hideaway in the country! The cows grazing outside our decking was an added bonus & hearing the farm being worked in the distance really added to our enjoyment of our stay! The bathroom was lovely with everything we needed from soft towels to toothpaste... they really had thought of it all! We can't wait to return & would highly recommend this as the perfect rural retreat!

This is a little slice of heaven I almost do not want everyone one else knowing about, but I can't be selfish. Ursula and Shane are such beautiful people knowers and lovers of the land and this filters through their whole farm leaving a wonderful sense of authenticity and that's before you even get inside the Lodge! The lodge is so thoughtfully decorated and the patio is a place to loose yourself in nature as its all around and its a sun trap..perfect environment for a G&T before a walk through the woods to the pub. I really couldn't find any fault with this delightful place and I will definitely be back. Thank you Ursula and Shane you gave me two days of tranquility in a beautiful place x
