Absolutely amazing birthday party for my 3 year old. She had the best time. Mel was amazing and super engaging and organised. We held my sons 4th Birthday Party at Hunky Dory’s. I was blown away by the teams efforts to make it such a special party for my son. From the decorations to fit the theme we chose, to the party games they organised, they made sure everything ran smoothly and that all the children had the best time. Thankyou so much for making Montys birthday party so wonderful!

I was apprehensive booking a party here, simply trying to understand how they could keep 20 children (and their attention spans) occupied for 2 hours. We definitely made the best choice, it was so well planned and being on two levels made transitions between different activities so smooth. The children started downstairs, moved upstairs, then down again after a while to have their tea party, it just meant the kids were unaware of what was coming next (apart from a few who snuck down!!!) which made it even more special. Everything had been so well thought out and it genuinely is a hands off experience leaving you to watch the children enjoying themselves. The cafe upstairs is great too, and I imagine a great place to sit when attending a standard session, you’re just a few steps away from where they are playing. The two hours flew by, and I genuinely could not fault a single thing. It is so accessible, safely enclosed, and in such a sympathetically renovated oak building. If you want to tame the madness then this certainly is the place to go. Thank you to all the staff for genuinely making this beyond what we could have ever hoped for. As a boring dad I’m quite looking forward to taking my daughter sometime for some father daughter bonding.

Hunky Dory hosted our daughter’s 2nd birthday party with all of her nursery friends. They did a fantastic job and we were so happy with their service. We chose a Teddy Bear picnic which was incredibly cute. The staff were really engaging and put on a couple of nice activities and ended with a little disco! They went above and beyond with food for the adults too, putting on a cream tea and baking us a cake. They focus on the little things which is really nice. Would definitely recommend.

So pleased I booked my daughters 5th birthday party at hunky dory. It was amazing and all the children had a great time. If your looking for a party venue for your child, hunky dory is the place to go. The party was organised so well from start to finish & we didn’t have to do anything. My daughter said it was the best party ever. The tables for the teddy bears picnic were dressed so beautifully and the food was delicious. The children were kept entertained and had so much fun. Thank you so much for hosting, the kids and adults had the best time we highly recommend.

Love love hunky dory! It’s been a recent find and we’ve been nearly every week since coming (sometimes twice a week!). Massive pluses are: - Selling squash (can’t tell you how nice it is just to be able to buy a simple squash in a cute bottle!) - Amazing pizzas & pic nic baskets (sweet lady even gave my 3 year old an extra marshmallow) - All day play sessions in the week during term time - Lovely clean toys All the families that attend seem to be so lovely and everyone takes care of the toys so they look nice week after week. Thank you for giving us another lovely play centre!

We recently celebrated our little girls 3rd birthday party here and it was just absolutely amazing! We weren't able to do family get togethers or celebrate properly for her first few birthdays due to lockdowns but wow did the team at hunky dory make this first official birthday party a good one! From start to finish Luci was brilliant with communication, letting me know about offers on party packages, very informative on the party themes and what they included. She even pulled together a payment plan, which we were so grateful for 😊 even when i added the sweet cones on 2 weeks before the party it was no trouble and the kids loved them! On the day of the party, it was so relaxed and Luci explained to the kids what they will be doing and even became the in house photographer, so that was another job off our minds! i actually had time to drink a coffee and chat to the parents....after planning parties for my eldest i never thought that would be possible!! The picnic was beautifully laid out and the food was amazing. They made sure dietary requirements were met for certain children, even with pass the parcel they had dairy/gluten free treats so everyone was included. All the parents were saying how incredible it was and we are already eyeing up the Neon Theme party package for her 4th birthday next year! Even my eldest and her friends were constantly saying they want their parties at Hunky Dory as well. I honestly can't recommend this place enough, it is a hidden gem and we can't wait to go back. Luci and the team are just wonderful! Thank you so so much for making my little girls birthday so special x
