We visited H&C's showroom soon after the fuel prices increased in April 2022 seeking a way of reducing heating costs. Paul visited our house, assessed its heat load and discussed various options in an impartial way - not just trying to sell the most expensive. We settled on a new woodburner and flue. Contura Stoves quoted an October delivery but this slipped to November and then Christmas due to high demand across Europe. Kyle at H&C, kept us informed and offered to install a same size, ex-display stove to keep us warm whilst we waited. The installation teams arrived on time and took great care to tidy up inside and out - including the scaffolding team needed for the flue. Our chosen stove is working really well. Despite the additional costs to H&C involved in multiple visits and delays, the final invoice was exactly what had been agreed nearly 9 months before. 5 star service throughout. These extremely rude persons were at a pub doing work they parked stupidly an elderly lady and her helper had trouble parking elderly lady struggling to walk said to the awful man about how they parked HE laughed at her moved vans to proper bays. Never seen such rudeness luckily I lipread from where I sat in my car thought he was disgusting
