This place is fabulous. It is such a lovely service that Hugh and Marilyn provide, the children get to groom the ponies first and tack them up, finishing off with a pleasant stroll down the road and back. It really is a wonderful place for small children to enjoy the ponies.

We took our grandchildren for an hour to groom and ride Shetland ponies; what good fortune to choose the Humaryn stable, it was wonderful! The ponies were perfect for very young children; gentle and well behaved. Our grandchildren spent 15 minutes grooming and then they rode along quiet country lanes, each pony on a leading reign. The staff were really good with children.

We took our 3 year old daughter for the first time yesterday and she absolutely loved it! She got to brush her mini Shetland (called Gwen) before going for a ride down the country lane, which she loved. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The Shetlands were so well behaved and perfect for little ones riding for the first time (just like our daughter). The owner Hugh was very kind and friendly, great with the children. I would highly recommend going!

We went today with our 3 children…. It was fabulous from start to finish! Hugh was brilliant and very attentive to our chatty 3 even though he was busy. The ponies were little beauties and very well behaved. We would 100% recommend a trip here.
