We complained to the HFEA about our Fertility clinic, including clear processs and procedural failings. All they did was summarise the facts, but took no action and made no recommendations - despite us suggesting some. Their responses were slow and their letters made some references to trends. The problem is that not enough people complain to the HFEA and awareness of them is limited. Instead, people tend to just switch clinics. The HFEA are a very poor regulator of fertility clinics and they are not fit for purpose in our experience.
