FAQ
What is the adoption process for animals at your shelter?
Our adoption process begins with an application where we ask for information about the potential adopter and their living situation. Then, we conduct a home visit to ensure that the environment is safe and suitable for the animal. If everything checks out, we schedule a meet-and-greet with the animal to see if it's a good match. Once approved, the adopter signs an adoption contract and pays the adoption fee.Are there any adoption fees, and if so, what do they include?
Yes, there are adoption fees which vary depending on the animal. The fees include spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and any necessary medical treatments. The fees help cover the costs of caring for the animals while they are at our shelter. What services are included in your Adult Foster Care package?
Our Adult Foster Care package includes 24-hour care, meal preparation, medication management, transportation to appointments, assistance with activities of daily living, and social activities. We also provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.Do you provide any training or support for new pet owners?
Yes, we provide training and support for new pet owners. We offer classes on basic obedience, behavior modification, and socialization. We also provide resources and guidance on pet care, nutrition, and health. How do you prioritize rescue cases?
We prioritize rescue cases based on the severity of the situation. If an animal is in immediate danger, we will respond as quickly as possible. We also take into consideration the animal's medical needs, temperament, and the availability of resources to care for them. Our goal is to help as many animals as we can, but we must prioritize those in the most urgent need.Reviews

It used to be a lovely place with a genuine non destruct policy but now dogs (and probably cats) are apparently put to sleep routinely if they are deemed difficult to rehome or "on veterinary advice" because of psychological well-being without even being given a chance. No mention on the website of the founder who worked so hard to start the place up many years ago. And it's no longer an independent little charity sadly.
