I have never been able to get through on the phone ever to the clinic. I'm always cut off. My mother was seen in the beginning of February 2019 and told she needed urgent treatment within a month. Her eyesight is deteriorating. Its now the middle of May and despite her GP writing , another GP ringing I still can't find out about an appointment for her. Its a disgrace. The phone lines, morning or afternoon are always busy and they always cut me off. My poor old mum died a month later. However the eye hospital where I myself had my cataract done was excellent.

After an urgent referral from Specsavers opticians I was called the very next day to attend the Eye Hospital. The service they offer is second to none and cannot fault the care I received. Each and every one of the staff I saw were kind, courteous and reassuring. We should be proud of our NHS and the services they offer.

I had surgery on both eyes. Although things didn't go well the doctor remained calm and kept me calm in the whole process. I am due back there again very soon. So probably need further laser surgery on the left eye again. But the staff are great, even with a cry baby like me.
