Receptionists are lovely, and really try to help. The dentists seem to just want your money and don’t even try to hide that they don’t care. I’ve been to them for the same abscess twice (I’m waiting for a tooth extraction at the hospital), they’ve charged me £30 twice, and I wasn’t even in the chair for a minute both times. I’ve just phoned up, asking for some more antibiotics as it’s the same tooth, was told they couldn’t prescribe me without seeing me and no doubt wanting another £30 for him to touch the tooth and tell me I need a repeat dose of the same antibiotics! They care more about the money than the patient. Avoid, if you can!

After some excellent work by doctor Al-Kanani, with a root canal last year, and a check - up 2 weeks ago, where I was prescribed antibiotics for a possible infection, I was still experiencing pain and discomfort a week after the antibiotics course had finnished, so I needed to contact the practice this morning, 4/5/2023. After 5 unsuccessful attempts to call, with just a answer message continually telling me to be patient , ( was waring thin by now!) I left the call open from 12:50 until 13:50, then a 5 minutes break, then called again for another continuous houh, whilst I made and ate my lunch, before anothe 5 Minutes break, followed by anothe call for a continuous hour, whilst I did some gardening, every 33 seconds being told to be patient!!! In-between these long calls, which are charged as the call is actually answered by an answering machine! I sent 2 emails to the address given on the website - to ask if the ' phone system was faulty?- NOT deliverable according to the email postmaster!!! Still can't get through nowat 16:11. Perhaps the line is fauly, or been left off the hook?, But if just left unattended due to staff illness etc - PLEASE DONT LEAVE THE RECORDED MESSAGE ON, TELLING US TO BE PATIENT, BECAUSE THE CALL WILL NEVER BE ANSWERED, AND I HAVE WASTED TIME AND MONEY TRYING ALL DAY! - BETTER TO SAY THE 'PHONE CAN NOT BEANSWERED AT THE MOMENT, TRY AGAIN LATER, OR PROVIDE ANOTHE CONTACT NUMBER ( MOBILE?), OR TURN THE PHONE OFF- ANYTHING BUT LEAD US TO BELIEVE THAT OUR CALL WILL BE SHORTLY AMSWEWED, WHEN IT WON'T. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOR USUALLY A GOOD EXPERIENCE.😡 ...... The above is my experience from yesterday, here is my experience today : ( Friday May 5th 2023)... After virtually constantly ringing from 9am until 12: 55 pm, ( some attempt having the 'phone rung for over 1 hour before retrying again!) , Whilst constantly listening to a recorded message telling me' please be patient, your call will be answered shortly!) ... The call was finally answered - the phone being left ringing in my shirt pocket whilst I had lunch!!! I explained having tried to get through for the last 2 days, more or less constantly, and asked if there had been a 'phone system failure?... ' No been fine here' must be your 'phone - when I replied I had also got 2 of my friends to try and get through to them with the same no answer results, there was no explanation, and when I mentioned I had even tried to email the address on the website twice, without success, I was told ' oh we haven't got an email address!!! I explained I had nerve pain and discomfort still after a course of antibiotics the dentist prescribed me at my check-up two weeks ago, and, like I told the dentist at the time, I would like it sorting, as I was going away to celebrate retirement in a a months time, so could I see him again please? ....' the first available appointment is May 23rd' - but I go away on May 22nd I said! - ' well when do you get back, I can do after you get back! - obviously not grasping I need the treatment before I go in 3 weeks time, not after. This is a follow-up treatment, after the dentist prescribed antibiotics failed to improve matters! - I now have to try and call at 9am every morning ( not easy at work) and no doubt stay on the 'phone for ages again ( not easy at work) to ask if a cancellation has become available!!!. - great value for money, for someone who only works 11 hours a week on minimum wage delivering NHS prescriptions to elderly and vulnerable patients, but can't claim any benefits like dental treatment !!!

Would avoid this dentist at all cost. No one ever answers the phone the receptionist gave me an appointment which is the same day as my baby’s op was told it’s fine just take the appointment and keep calling to change it every time I’ve called you get no answer eventually it just gets cut off and today is the first time I’ve got through to them to be told i can’t chnage my appointment and if I don’t turn up next week I’m no longer allowed back even tho I’ve paid for my teeth and currently walking around with 5 snapped teeth to be told I’m no longer allowed back which Is fine but I’ll be taking it further as I’ve paid for my teeth they shouldn’t be snapping constantly

My only issue is the transparency of appointments, costs and charges. They delay appointments and charge more because of it. Please be vigilant about checking costs. I couldn't confirm pricing which is something everyone should be able to do. But in all fairness the dentist are fantastic But please be more transparent about costs.I would highly recommend the care of the dentists. I was extremely nervous about visiting a dentist after about 5 years of not seeing one. The dentist put me at ease and the care was great

Pretty sure the reviews on here are fake. Can't even get through on the phone. You're put on hold for 10 mins and then the phone goes dead. Tried calling 7 times so far to cancel an appointment with no luck. Yet if you don't turn up, they will blame you for not phoning up to cancel, even though it's their fault for not bothering to answer the phone!
