Have been to Hownhall various times now, and always for a different experience. Originally on a have a go day, then returned under my own licence and finally had a lesson with Simon. I can honestly say I've thoroughly enjoyed each visit and would highly recommend Hownhall as a venue for practice or tuition, Simon is an excellent instructor who has improved my technique I feel tenfold almost immediately. Free refreshments including tea, coffee, water and flapjacks, watch out for the labs though, their puppy dog eyes will have you sharing your flap jacks before you know it! Thank you to both Benita and Simon for creating a welcoming and honest venue that makes everyone feel welcomed and comfortable, it's a great place to shoot.

What an amazing experience... Highly recommended🌟 We were made to feel so welcome by ALL the lovely staff... booking was a breeze, communications excellent throughout. Health and safety adhered to all through our visit. As first timers at Clay Pigeon Shooting I was very nervous and unsure about the whole idea - I booked a slot for myself, my husband and my two older sons as a family treat. Well what can I say we all had so much fun... Andy was so professional and a fantastic tutor. Guided us throughout our session, making sure we all enjoyed the experience. Benita was fantastic from my very first enquiry, answering all my questions and concerns again so professional and friendly. Sarah made us a cuppa as we sat round a gorgeous open fire while we waited for our time slot, again very welcoming. Thank you everyone at Hownhall...you helped make my little family outing very special indeed. If you've never ever tried Clay Pigeon Shooting...even in your older years...(like me) Please give it a go... there's lots to learn, it's fun to do and this place make your visit so special. Highly recommended 🌟
