Good value kitchen, helpful design team but disappointing delivery comms and rude delivery driver left a bad taste. Jim was very helpful in designing our kitchen and even offered us a discount if we took early delivery (thanks Jim). We agreed and were assured that we would get a call on the day of delivery as we both work. On the day the delivery driver turned up without warning and asked who would be helping him to carry the items from the van to the house! Naturally my wife who happened to be in was rather shocked firstly as we had not had a call to arrange delivery as planned and that he was alone and demanding help to carry heavy items into our home. He then drove off without a word leaving her in the street! He did come back with assistance and complete the delivery. Needless to say clear communication would have smoothed over this incident and not left a bad taste at the end of what had been a good process. Please offer your delivery drivers some training around customer service - its really not appropriate to turn up unexpectedly then ask the client to help you carry items which they are not trained nor fit to do.
