We had a wonderful stay 3 days ago and I would recommend Howard Winchester to anyone. It was clean and well looked after. We came much too early for checking in but the wonderful lady in reception, possibly manager or owner, went out of her way to get our room finished as we just came in from a long tiresome flight. The location is fantastic with a couple of minutes to underground, trains and buses. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We were on the very top floor and without air conditioning it got a bit warm at night even with the window open and the last night the WiFi was so slow to the point of non existing. Something to keep in mind is that these buildings are a little older so the stairs are steep and narrow so not great if you have large or heavy suitcases, but I’m convinced the staff would help you out if needed. Cheers and we will stay with you again if we’re in London.

(Translated by Google) The prices are cheap and the rooms are great. Small, but you don't need a lot when traveling, do you? If you just need to find a room to sleep alone, this is the choice for you.

Not sure if it was housekeeping or a guest who was stomping around above us from 7am but it woke us both up! Rooms are lovely though and staff are very friendly. Offered to keep our bags for us for the day after we checked out. I'd stay there again! Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

(Translated by Google) The major asset is its location, 2 minutes walk from Kings Cross station! Our room (on the lower floor) was nice and perfectly adequate for 3, clean and functional. Note that we heard in the background the Kings Cross subways passing (every 1 to 5 min non-stop) in "deaf" noise since in a room in the basement (subway vibrations surely being transmitted in the ground). .. it did not bother us much but that is to know for some rooms! The welcome is efficient and warm. Free concierge for luggage on the last day. No breakfast at all, not even a little snack or anything. We knew it but that does not prevent it from being a shame and not costing them much. High price but unfortunately "normal" for London (about 300€ for 2 weekend nights in a room for 3). Good value for money though.
