FAQ

What specific homeless services does your company provide?

We provide a range of services to support homeless individuals and families, including emergency shelters, transitional housing, case management, and employment assistance.

How do you ensure the safety and confidentiality of the women staying at your shelters?

We take the safety and confidentiality of our clients very seriously. We have strict security measures in place at all of our shelters, including secure entrances and exits, surveillance cameras, and trained staff to monitor the premises. We also have policies in place to protect the confidentiality of our clients' personal information.

Are there any eligibility requirements for women to stay at your shelters?

Yes, there are eligibility requirements for our women's shelters. Generally, women must be 18 years or older, homeless or at risk of homelessness, and have a need for safe shelter. We also prioritize women who are fleeing domestic violence or other dangerous situations.

Can you provide examples of successful cases in which your company helped a homeless individual or family?

We have many success stories of individuals and families who have benefitted from our services. One example is a family who came to us after losing their home due to a job loss. We provided them with temporary housing and helped them find new employment. With our support, they were able to get back on their feet and eventually move into permanent housing.

Staff need training, half of them don’t know what they are doing. They are very rude and have no manners and they make promises that they can’t keep.

A lady called Eniko was extremely helpful, sensitive and professional when dealing with my case. I’m thankful for her help and took time to write a review because of how much of a weight has been lifted off my shoulder. Many thanks.

When I called the number, the person who answered clearly sounded like he was just woken up from sleep and his speech was hard to understand. I don't know what devices or phones they are using, but it did not have clear sound, as they were also losing signal. I'm potentially an undiagnosed Autistic with depression and suicidal ideation and having someone absolutely not care at all, when it is their job to help people, it is incredibly demoralising and it made me lose all faith and trust in this service from the get go. When I had an appointment on the phone the next day, I was experiencing very similar thing, but this time with a different person. I would constantly hear them *sigh* really close to the phone, which makes me really uncomfortable as I have sensitivity to certain sounds. It gave me the impression that they are very apathetic purely by the way they speak. They would also speak in a mocking way giving me the impression that I am bad at speaking English, when in reality it is their bad service and me being in distress as well as having communication difficulties due to my Autism. When I was asked certain questions that I could not hear, I noticed how the person purposefully mumbled a question in a mocking way, I simply answered I don't understand what you are saying. I also managed to hear them giggle giving me the impression that they would make fun of me to other colleagues. Then they muted the call for a brief moment. I was asked if I have any mental health issues as well as physical health issues, but how am I supposed to answer if I don't have a liable diagnosis and assessments being done on me when the NHS has outrageous waiting times on their waiting lists. Even when I was referred to a psychoanalysis in January-February 2020, I was told that I am not that serious of a case after the assessment and was simply referred to yet another apathetic person who could just do a diagnostic assessment for depression and offer contacts to support groups. Absolutely useless... I believe that the people working there are just there for the wage and nothing else. I'm better off speaking to Sematarians or some kind of crisis line. Sent to an Emergency in a hospital or a psychiatric hospital... I have no idea. I have no idea what will happen to me. Maybe I'd decide to jump off somewhere, at least it will be better than living in despair.

Not fit for purpose. Mayor Luthfur Rahman needs to tackle Tower Hamlets services because they are shockingly poor. The admin staff are just lazy and love back logs. Use anything and everything as an excuse

Not helpful at all, not a care in the word is given if you are homeless, I reached out to them when I was in the verge of being homeless with less than a week to go, I was told come back when you are homeless, I was shocked, they want you to be on the street before they can offer any help, disgusting. This borough is made up of working class people who make it what it is, those who have money already bough the houses they were in, leavig the poor in the gutter, the council refuses to do anything in regards to private rent, its currently £1400 -£1600 for a 1/2 bed flat, you would have to be making £50/£60k a year to afford that with all the bills and expense. Do better. If you can't offer housing at least make it so it's affordable for everyone. But that wouldn't happen would it, it would be too easy for the poor.
