Updates on delivery and time slot was very accurate which I appreciate however condition of product not great. The only protection the worktop had was a plastic sheet which meant corners and edges were damaged on arrival. Customer service suggest sanding and oiling to solve the issue.

After ordering a really sub standard ‘reclaimed’ wood sit stand desk from an Etsy store (and waiting 6 weeks for it to be made), I ended up returning it and decided to put in a bit more work and research a better option. I bought the frame separately but found House of Worktops to make the desktop. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. They took my custom desktop design and made a beautiful job of it. Everything is exactly as per spec, the quality is amazing and took just over a week from order to delivery. Highly recommend them!

Oak Stair Cladding Kit is in terrible condition. It is made from waste. The oak pieces are cracked. Badly glued together. Many places are rotten. Wood damaged by termites. Out of the 13 steps of the stairs, only 8 were suitable. The stairs look good on the seller's website. But in reality it's complete rubbish. This is a raw board. I do not recommend anyone to buy this junk. This is a total scam.

I paid to have the worktops oiled with 3 coats. They had only been oiled once and not all over, there was patches where it had been missed. They did refund some of the extra money though but I should have asked for more as both worktops needed to be oiled twice again. There were also a few little splits I them. It's hard to see the quality before they are fitted but I wish I had made more effort to check them over properly before fitting, as I probably would have returned them.

My worktop was cut incorrectly by them and they would not accept responsibility or a return. There was a clear mis-communication between the sales representative and the carpenter but they would not accept responsibility and as a gesture of goodwill they offered me 10% off a new one thinking they are doing me a favour. Can you believe that!!
