I love that this company stands for environmental sustainability and produces products that are so utterly beautiful to boot. Our wallpaper (Plantasia in prism) was recently installed and has made the room everyone’s favorite. I could happily sit and stare at it for hours. I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting House of Hackney in person but one day if I make it to NYC or London, I’ll definitely pop in. In the meantime, my dealings have been online. My friend is letting me redo her bathroom and House of Hackney was recommended to us a great place to find wallpaper and paint. Georgia has been my rock! I had so many questions that I was in almost constant communication with her and she had all the answers and then some. Georgia is completely professional but is blessed with a charmingly British personality that was very endearing. Aside from the gorgeous collections and me being a huge fan of the brand, I had a brilliant customer service experience. And that too over items I had purchased through their bi-annual sample sale (I thought they may be slightly dismissive in the circumstances but my experience was quite the contrary). My queries were dealt with promptly, efficiently, with constant communication and super friendly service. I was dealing with Georgia from the team, who went above and beyond in her customer service and was such a delight. Essentially, I had mistakenly purchased a couple of US lamps in the sample sale. Items are non-refundable or exchangeable in the sample sale but the fault was mine in not unboxing and checking the lamps before purchasing - something the company unequivocally advocates, given the sample sale policy. Despite this, Georgia went out of her way to ensure I could use the lamps and kindly sent me a couple of US spiders to attach the shades - without any additional cost - as well as give super helpful guidance for the adaptors required. I cannot sing her and the company's praises enough. A beautiful and sustainable brand matched with brilliant customer service. Hugely recommended!
