I ordered some shiro with rice and salad to go for only £5.50 and found it absolutely delicious and quite a filling portion for that much. The flavour was insanely rich. Impressively, they have so many vegan and vegetarian options! Can’t recommend enough, they also have a stall in UoM’s uni place market.

Words can't describe how in loveeeee I am with House of Habesha!!! From food to customers superrrr service! A pregnant woman here woke up today craving injera, I tried to ask it for delivery and it was unavailable, I called them and they told me that they were closed this couple of days, after telling my situation, they made this huge action and prepared a delicious injera, and delivered it to me, it literally put me in tears! I really appreciate all the love and dedication! Thank you Thank you Thank youuuuu

I ordered the vegan special and it took 50 mins to get my food when it should've been 30 max, the chickpea curry, and potato curry were good but the rest didn't taste nice at all - very sour and not a fan. I asked my friend to try it incase it was just me but they also agreed it didn't taste good . Would not recommend, which is a shame as I like to try new cuisines. Perhaps the other things on the menu are better.

It is insane to me that someone left a review of the £15 vegan platter saying it wasn't enough food... I ate the whole thing with some difficulty, it was amazing and I could barely move for the rest of the night because I was so full! This is my favourite takeaway in Manchester hands down, and they've moved onto the Foodstuff app which actually pays drivers a living wage.
