During my recent visit to Dudley, I stumbled upon the House of Chaii and decided to bring my family along for a delightful breakfast. The restaurant had received decent reviews, and we were excited to try out their offerings. The small yet cosy establishment exuded a warm atmosphere and pleasant ambiance, setting the stage for a memorable experience. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample the diverse menu. The Biscoff French Toast, adorned with chopped strawberries and raspberries, stole the show. It was a true delight, boasting the perfect combination of tenderness and fluffiness. The French toast became an instant favorite among our group. Next, we tried the Eggs Benedict on Muffin with Turkey Rashers. And scrambled eggs with chicken sausages and hash browns with sauteed spinach. Unfortunately, both the scrambled eggs and the poached eggs in the Eggs Benedict were overcooked. The scrambled eggs were dry, lacking the creamy texture that makes them so enjoyable. Similarly, the poached eggs were not runny as expected but rather overcooked. This inconsistency with the eggs was a letdown, as it overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable meal. In addition to the menu items we ordered, we also tried the egg and sausage roll, which was served in a nicely toasted paratha. It was delicious and satisfying, leaving a positive impression. While we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the House of Chaii, the mishap with the overcooked eggs dampened our experience. Despite informing the chef about the issue, it seemed that they were not overly concerned. It's worth noting that the restaurant was not overly busy at the time, so the mistake cannot be attributed to being under pressure in the kitchen. Overall, I must say that we loved almost every aspect of our visit to the House of Chaii. The cozy ambiance, friendly atmosphere, and mouthwatering Biscoff French Toast made for a memorable experience. However, the inconsistency in preparing the eggs left a bittersweet taste. I would still recommend giving them another chance, as everything else was truly exceptional. I would definitely visit again.

Bustling place. We were driving to Stourbridge (lucky us) and had no intention of stopping anywhere en route... but saw this place and knew what we had to do. Lovely staff team, spot-on drinks (iced coffee of some sort for my friend and a karak chai for me), and tasty baklava. So glad we made a pit stop here! Parking: I don't know what people normally do but we managed to park right outside the place. We were only stationary for a few minutes, so I must say that I can't remember what parking restrictions there might be in place.
