    Booked the Saturday 12:30 slot. Arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the reception as advised by the hotel staff, unfortunately there was no sign of anyone after half an hour. None of the phone numbers on the Houdini website work. The hotel staff tried contacting people at Houdini, also without success. After waiting approx 40 minutes we managed to message someone on their chat function to be told someone was on their way. Again no sign of anyone. After chasing their arrival we were then told that they were wrong and no one was coming. After we had waited for an hour we asked them to call us which they said they would, so we left. No one called. We travelled 70 miles from Cambridgeshire to attend this escape room, and then 70 miles back. No calls, no emails, nothing. I received an email from PayPal this morning informing me my money had been refunded. Terrible service, communication and all round experience from Houdini. Would not recommend. I still await any meaningful communication from them.

    We really enjoyed it! The prison warden was super friendly, attentive and encouraging too! The game was fun and engaging. There were a lot of keys and locks, and plenty of riddles and puzzles.
