AVOID !!!!!!! 1 STAR RATING IS TOO GENEROUS I purchased a multi fuel stove aswell as other accessories Mantle piece and tile effects, looked like a nice job when completed to be honest but although when it had its first service off an independent chimney sweeper he did point out that the chimney pot cowl had been installed incorrectly but to be honest that’s the least of my worries and the person servicing the stove rectified the fault on chimney, As seen in previous negative comments made by another un happy customer the stove I had also was never HETAS registered which had a massive stress on trying to sell my property because HETAS had not been informed of the installation it also meant the local authority’s hadn’t been informed either, when trying to resolve the issue the customer service was shocking. I first phoned up to ask for some assistance how I could resolve this problem with a response of “There’s nothing I can do” …..”It’s not my problem”…..”you’ll have to phone HETAS”…….with the phone then being hung up. Once I finally got through to HETAS they informed me the reason it wasn’t registered is because they didn’t send the certificate off to HETAS ( this is common apparently with lazy installers they said ) so therefore it couldn’t be registered online. At this point I was trying to phone this rouge company back to be told, someone will phone you back in 10 minutes, this went on for over 48 hours. In the meantime HETAS also informed me that it is the “installations company” duty to make sure that these certificates reach HETAS and if there is no correspondence they should be following this issue up. I was told this over the phone by a HETAS representative, after finally getting through to the installation company and telling them what HETAS had told me there response was “that’s rubbish, that’s not true the certificate must have got lost in the post”……with another pleasant hang up. I did get a phone call though a few minutes later off these saying “ we can send a fitter out tonight to service the stove….that’ll cost you £160 though” Also I was trying to make these aware the stress this was causing on the chain of selling the property for their response to be, you don’t need HETAS certification to sell your property. It seems that there also experts in selling properties aswell and installing dodgy stoves.

Do not purchase from here ordered a fire place paid £1000 wasn’t delivered was told it would be redelivered paid £30 and then got a phone call to say due to snow it wont be and now they have cancelled my order said will refunded the money but i will have to wait 5 days i said i would come down to the show room and collect my money and was lied to and told they do not have a show room and they are hanging up and not answering the phone very unprofessional

Please be very careful about using this company. I bought a wood stove from them supplied and fitted. However, they failed to register the installation with HETAS and because of this my stove is practically worthless and no stove engineer will service it. When I complained, they told me they would register the stove but only if I paid them an extra £350. I expect you could find a more reliable company than this.

I’ve had an absolutely shocking experience with this company. Ordered a chamber lining on 16th November after speaking on the phone saying it was in stock. Delivery was supposed to be 5-10 working days. Chased on the 10th working day and turns out they were out of stock but forgot to tell me. This cost me an additional £150 to my fireplace installer that now has to come back and fit the lining retrospectively. I had a revised delivery date of 16th December, and guess what? Still not arrived. Chased on the 16th and still not had a response. Avoid this business at all costs.
