Really enjoyed our meal at Hotpot Spot. Our waitress Maya was wonderful and very helpful, and the food was all delicious, especially the Scallion Pancakes. A great date or would also work well with a group of friends, as you cook your ingredients in the broth at your table. They also have a vegan menu. We’ll be back!

I love every bit of the trip. First time going. Friendly service. Food exceeded my expectations. They even let us try a few snacks and left a nice little message thanking us for choosing them! Honestly, this place has easily become one of my favourite spots in Cardiff. The atmosphere is relaxed and warming, especially in this winter season. The food is outstanding but it's literally on you and how you cook 🤣 (make sure you get the dipping sauce because it takes it to another level). The staff are so kind, accommodating and amazing! And as a Muslim, I'm so grateful they provide halal options. Hotpot is such a unique dining experience that I think everyone should experience at least once in their lives. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: They have an array of veggie options, I recommend the bao buns

So happy they have brought this idea to Cardiff and South Wales. Now I no longer need to travel to the West Midlands for this hotpot style cuisine. The food was absolutely amazing and full of flavour, the hotpot flavours contained richness and fresh ingredients throughout. The setting was fantastic and staff helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this place out. It has halal options and is also fairly priced. I went all out to try everything!

Me & my son really love this type of food, we’ve both tried Korean hotpot before so was excited to tried Chinese hotpot. We got to the restaurant 1st doors on a Saturday lunchtime, the lady who greeted us was very friendly she explained the ordered process (all done on qr link at table) very simple to navigate delicious hotpot on the table very quickly. Food was well presented and delicious would definitely recommend
