Came by train with my assistance dog found it to be pretty near in terms of walking distance and once a lady pointed me in the right direction you couldn't really miss it. It is near a busy main road but equally close to some attractions, train and bus station. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, gave me extra pillows and coffee/milk, no problem. Gave me directions and a map, which I found useful has I'm rubbish with Google maps. When the little bar gets open again that will be spot on for a drink or bite to eat. The rooms do need updating and it wouldn't take much to just make them fresh and basic. I turned on the hairdryer and it instantly started burning smell and went bright red hot and cut of, things like that really need addressing or disabling its dangerous. Theres roller shutters on the windows something ive never seen before but it does cut out abit of noise in the night and safe I suppose. For what I needed it was great even better if room was just freshened up. Cleaner had done a good job, you can't do more if it needs new flooring and basic decoration. I went for a walk down to Pearson park with the dog bit of a wonder but nice when there and came back on a different street with some fab looking restaurants ect, near to uni . The next day I was checking out and visiting family until late over in Barton upon Humber. Steady wonder around some shops and then to bus station, literally down the road. Check out was 12 which is fabulous. I'd definitely book again for the night and check out other parts of hull and go see family again. It was good value.

Amazing value for money. The hotel offers free parking which is really secure with plate recognition cameras. The motel style of the rooms was really unique, they also had shop-esk roller shutters on the windows which you could put down to dampen outside light/noise. The rooms where very clean and had everything needed.

It's basic, but the room was a clean and tidy ensuite. With a small bath and shower with a good supply of hot water. A kettle and a couple of sachets of tea, coffee, and milk are supplied. A reasonably comfortable double bed, a TV and electric wall heaters are provided. The rooms are either ground or 1st floor in two storey chalet like buildings. It's reasonably priced, so don't expect the Ritz, but it's good value for the money. The restaurant was shut when I visited, so no breakfast was available, although I was told it should soon be reopening. It's in walking distance to the city centre so not far from restaurants, cafés, shops and various attractions. The room I was in was at the rear overlooking the car park and the entrance. Despite the hotel site being on the corner junction of two busy roads, my room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. All in all it was very good value and I enjoyed a comfortable night's stay.
