We arrived for our checkin and after receiving the room card we went to the 1st floor and opened the door: surprise! A couple was already in the room. An unacceptable and very dangerous situation! We went to the hotel reception and we were offered a new card. This time the right room. I hope at least some compensation for this execrable experience.

Had a 12 hour layover in Luton and needed a place to catch a nap and a shower. Looked up the day stay 9-1700 and the web page for the ibis said 70 pounds. The desk clerk said 140, which is outrageously that the walk in price is double the advertised rate on the hotel web site. I ended up having to book infront of the desk agent to get the price. Room was ok, bed very thin and bathroom paint peeling around the restroom vents. All and ok and a very short walk from the terminal.

Very serious problem! My husband and I arrived at the hotel on the night of May 17th and at check-in the receptionist gave us the card for room 121. When we opened the room we found a couple sleeping, the room was already occupied: a couple was lying on the bed!!!! Absurd a mistake like that, the receptionist didn't even apologize and said it was the fault of the system that had doubled the reservations. No seriousness in dealing with this situation that could have put guests at risk, in addition to the invasion of privacy. Complete lack of professionalism.
