Location is excellent, near the river and close to the town. The staff are friendly, but the experience was slightly disappointing. The room itself was nice but looked tired with upside-down aircon control, cobwebs on the windows, poor paint condition and loose light fittings. The overall quality of the room was disappointing. The rooms need to be improved for the cost. The location of the room was nice across the courtyard but can be noisy if people are sat outside until late evening/early morning. I wouldn't stay here again if I wanted a quiet, peaceful stay. Limited parking so parked in the train station car park and pay online. The bar and bistro seems very quiet and the breakfast was poor. Little choice available for the continental breakfast with little selection and we had to often ask for things to be available for them to then be provided as everything looked empty and were not refilled. Breakfast was not what we expected for the price and we didn't feel it was good value. A good experience, but disappointed. Rooms: Need improvements and to be cleaned to a good standard. Cobwebs in the windows and poor fixtures and fittings.

Brilliant place. Excellent service & awesome food both for dinner & breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Room was lovely. Quirky tiles on one wall as it used to be a brewery. Bed was super comfortable & the roll top bath & shower were amazing. Location was perfect as right by the river. Dropped off bags & parked in the station car park which is a 5 min walk. Wonderful stay. Nearby activities: Walks by the Thames. Boat trips. Pubs. Shops. Restaurants

Rooms were nice and clean, food was delicious. Service at the bar was slow and very limited stock. They had to put the beer in the freezer to try to chill it! Found out Valet parking was, park your own, and they still charged me £15 for the privilege to park. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

(Translated by Google) I've been there a few times for work. The location is convenient, the breakfast very good, the rooms nice. But I just can't sleep here. But it's getting old. The staff is quite arrogant. The rooms very noisy. The heaters don't work in winter. The chain seems very popular in England, but this branch is in dire need of an update.
