This is really a popular accommodation with nice surroundings and equipment, what's more, a perfect location super close to the campus! If you want to live here in Sep, remember to order a room in Dec in the previous year. Besides, there is a professional team to keep the environment clean and quiet, and response your mail in a short time. I especially want to appreciate Kerry and Mom Sue. They take care of this accommondation with their whole heart.

Me and my parents visited Birmingham yesterday after my Uni interview. We were having a look round and visited the The Metalworks on the off chance we could have a look round. A really nice lady called Kerry took us on a viewing of the rooms and site and was really helpful and informative. We turned up on the off chance but she was really great showing us around to which were are grateful for. She made myself and parents feel so at ease and was honest and open about the perks to living in Halls rather than in a house. The fact that there is team on site and security is a big seller for my parents. I just wanted to say a massive Thank you to Kerry for all her help and we look forward to seeing her again soon.

The accommodation at the metalworks is clean and well appointed, with good usable space in the kitchens. Rooms are comfortable if a little small. Please can you do something about the desk chairs? They’re not adjustable at all, and if a student does not fit the chair they will be spending many hours with bad posture that makes backs sore and concentration poor.

Stayed at the Metalworks for 4 years of my degree. The whole team were always so accommodating and helpful, and always flexible. From allowing me to keep the same room for 4 years, to being flexible with out-of-hours parcel pick-ups and speedy with maintenance and email replies. The Metalworks is in such a convenient place and I highly recommend to any student looking for their first home away from home. Special thanks to Kerry (property manager), Sara and the caretaker team Thank you for looking after me and making my uni experience brilliant!

Cannot believe I was charged €1000 for 3.5 weeks. No access to kitchen facilities. No access to drinking water. Washing machine app did not work. Access to staff out of hours was close to impossible. Room was miserable. DO NOT stay here. Only regret is that I couldn't give zero stars

Get what you pay for. £20 per night but cleaning charge was like £25 quid. Not sure what they exactly clean bar the floor and bed as you are requested to take your own rubbish bags downstairs. Our room was hot but had window that opened by half a foot we slept fine but don't think it was our cup of tea.
