Very bad experience that is ongoing. This hospital left me with a mould on my skin and misdiagnosed it as 'lichen schlerosus'. It's high time that clinicians are held to account for their pomposity and clinical laziness.

I waited 6 weeks for test results to be told they forgot to tick the box to order the h pylori test. I sent my second sample recorded delivery but they still managed to lose it. After repeatedly chasing them, 4 weeks later the sample was found and I was given a negative result and told they cannot help me any further. I then paid for a private gastroscopy and was diagnosed with a h pylori infection. HTD had the opportunity to save me a lot of time, money and physical pain but failed miserably.

I have been to tropical diseases for 3 different parasite issues over the last few years - all of which I have picked up travelling. First I had strongyloides from Mexico which they did not pick up, which can be potentially life threatening if you have a weakened immune system. I have an autoimmune disease and the doctor tried to fob me off by saying it was my autoimmune disease causing my symptoms. I have had 2 other parasites since, from going to India, which they also did not detect. I have had to go private with private stool tests to find these things and treat them. It is great that you can walk into a place and get tested, but if the tests are not accurate enough to pick these things up then what is the point.
