Really unhelpful company with terrible customer service to deal with. It takes over a day to get a response back from them in a chat system as I'm unable to call to discuss the booking. Despite having a family bereavement to be told I am not allowed to change the date on a booking despite being willing to pay the extra for the different days as within 4 weeks of the booking despite the clearly little demand for it!

Steer away from this company!! I have paid extra £22 for cancellation protection and when i told them i cannot make it as emergency situation happens that i will not be available during the reserved period, they bluntly refused to refund my reservation and said my reason was not good enough to cancel the booking, they would only refund if there is a lock down from covid or that i have proof im admitted into a hospital? after a 10 minute on call wait they said out of a "gesture of good will" they would do the refund this time but need to charge admin fee which is 90 pounds! I could not believe what i have heard!? isnt it common sense if you paid extra for cancellation protection, you should be able to get a full refund whenever you need to? I would never choose to use this company again to reserve any future holidays, they take advantage of their customers wherever possible!

Terrible customer service. We booked two UK lodges for over £2,000 requesting them to be next to each other. We were advised a week before the two lodges were 10 minutes walk apart. We made numerous calls to Hoseasons, the newer staff tried to help but were unable. When we asked to speak to a manager several times, they were unavailable. We were promised a call back on Sunday afternoon, nothing happened. We rang at 9am on Monday, again promised a call back by the end of the day. Had to chase them as no word by 19.30pm - all senior staff were in a meeting. When the manager called he had decided he wasn't going to help us, and that was tough, our problem. He also said he would charge us for cancellation. Unlike the other advisors he lacked empathy, the ability to listen or care for us as a customer. This was an expensive UK break and we are shocked by the contempt we received from both the park and Hoseasons. We won't be booking with them again and will be advising our friends not to. I would urge caution in booking with them, as if an issue occurs junior staff aren't in a position to help (despite them being kind and understanding) and management are absent, unhelpful and arrogant.
